Sam has been cosplaying and causeplaying for four years and has been a SoCal resident for two months. She moved from Chicago to the Los Angeles area over the summer with her spouse, two dogs (Chadwick Boseman and George Takei), and two cats (Audrey Hepburn and Kit Harrington). After a nine-year battle with cancer, she finally achieved full remission at the very end of 2021 and decided she was more than ready to move to sunshine and beaches. She is a conservation biologist by day, with way too many hobbies. Volunteerism has always been important to her, and she’s so excited to be part of KCC.
